Sustainability

As a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB, all of our activities fit within their overall sustainability framework.  In August 2021, TNB set its net zero aspirations through the Sustainability Pathway 2050 (SP2050).

Key pathway ambitions:

  • A renewable energy target of 8,300MW by 2025 with an acceleration of RE investments towards 2050
  • A commitment of 35% reduction of emission intensity by 2035

As TNB continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio on both domestic and international grounds, there is an opportunity to both build capability and gain access to knowledge and technology.
